This is my most recent project.
I still havent thought of a title for it but I really wanted
to do an installation and have a love for type. So I decided
to combine the two. I did this for an advanced photography
class!
I thought of this idea and then later on realized how similar
to it is to Bernd and Hilla Bechers photography. They
documented the disappearing German industrial architecture.
They were fascinated by the similar shapes in which certain
buildings were designed and also brought into play how
these photographs were displayed next to each other.
The whole time taking photos I was focused on the type
used on each house numbers, the wear and tare from time,
the colors, patterns, and unique features.
